Africanna and special collection section

The Africanna and Special Collection section is a resource for the entire TUM University and most of TUM’s disciplinary programmes are reflected in the collection. It provides a specialized collection consisting of African authored books, journals, Government reports, TUM publications, United Nations publications, journals, Conference Proceedings and African Development publications. In addition, students’ projects and newspapers of proceeding days up to one year and examination past papers in different disciplines are also availed in the section. Through to its dynamic and up to date collection, the section promotes research through its knowledgeable and professional staff, well organized indexes and catalogues. Current journals are promptly listed in the journal index and displayed on the racks alphabetically to allow for browsing and reports can be produced on request. Students can access projects and reports on production of their student identification documents.

The Africanna section opens Monday to Friday from 9.00 am – 5.00pm and remain closed on Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays.
